Sound healing is a wellbeing and relaxation practice. It is not a substitute for medical treatment, diagnosis or advice, and our sessions are not intended to treat, cure or diagnose any medical or psychiatric condition.
Any references on the Website to the effects of sound on the nervous system, relaxation or wellbeing reflect current thinking in the field and our own experience. This area of research is still developing, and we make no claims that sound healing is clinically proven to produce specific outcomes.
If you have any of the following, or are unsure whether sound healing is suitable for you, please consult your GP or healthcare provider before booking, and let us know in advance:
-
pregnancy
-
epilepsy or a history of seizures
-
a pacemaker or other implanted medical device
-
a serious mental health condition, including psychosis
-
any other condition where vibration or sustained deep relaxation may not be advisable
You take part in our sessions at your own discretion and are responsible for informing us of any relevant health conditions before your session. We may ask you to complete a short health and consent form before attending.
If you feel unwell, distressed or unsure at any point during a session, please let us know. You are free to step outside, adjust your position or stop at any time.
6. No Guarantee of Results
Every sound journey we offer is created to feel different, and individual experiences of sound healing vary. We do not guarantee any specific emotional, physical or therapeutic outcome from attending a session.
7. Photography and Recording
At group sessions, corporate days or events, we may take photographs or video for use in our marketing, on the Website or on social media. If you would prefer not to be included, please let us know before the session begins.
